More DescriptionTHIS BOOK HAS SOME COLORED PICTURES. This book provides some stories, list of descendants, and history of James Tippon Padgett and Louisa Anita Alvarez, their children, and their children's families and James Tippon Padgett and Vandalia Ella Willis, their children, and their children's families.Since James Tippon Padgett was born in the early 1800's, there is no one to ask regarding him or his family, in fact all of his children are dead. Printed records (i.e., Census Reports, Family Bibles, County/State records, etc.) and family tales are all that we have to determine their life stories and family history. In the early 1800's the Padgetts were living in Ware County, Georgia where James Tippon Padgett was born on November 4 1837. One story suggests that the Padgetts were told to leave Georgia or go to jail, so they left. For whatever reason, many of the Padgetts moved to Florida in the mid-1800's. James Tippon Padgett moved to the middle area of Florida to settle in Brevard County, Florida.
