More DescriptionRobert Copeland has summers off from his college teaching position and heretofore he traveled with several groups and with friends. Lately, namely the past three years he has gotten himself tangled up with professional spy masters who ruthlessly recruit him to do their bidding. Fortunately he has always outwitted those that would do him in or take advantage of his trusting personality. He hates the spy business and would do anything to get out of it. The harder he tries to get out of the clutches of the spy game players, the deeper he gets.Summer Spy is no exception, his own failing and snap judgment has gotten him into the international spy game once again. He reluctantly takes a mission after finding that his own country may be a target for terrorist. He has little understanding why several international spy groups think he is something special to that business. He has earned some respect from so very powerful officials in his own country as well as others. He will travel to Germany, France and then to Africa trying to defeat a group of terrorist that have taken possession of an F4, American fighter jet. He meets a lot of people along the way, some old friends and some new. He get help from previous acquaintances and from some new friends. He seems to have better control of this situation than he did in his previous two spy adventures. (Little Eagle Saves A Spy and A Spy Saves Little Eagle)I think the report of his death was a bit premature.
