Author Biography
Pettibon, Raymond (Author)
Raymond Pettibon was born in Tuscon, Arizona in 1957. His work has become an emblem of the D.I.Y. aesthetic since the late 1970s, and is associated with underground bands like Sonic Youth. Last year a retrospective exhibition of his work traveled to museums in Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles. He lives and works in Hermosa Beach, California.
