Kurniawan, Eka (Author)
Eka Kurniawan was born on November 28, 1975 in Tasikmalaya, West Java, Indonesia. He studied philosophy at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. He writes novels, short stories, movie scripts and essays. His novels in English include, Beauty is a Wound and Man Tiger which won the 2016 Emerging Voices award for best novel. He also works as a journalist and designer.
