This is a story that synthesizes the big and the small in the Forbidden Tome. The time in Lethal Assumed has now become present day Seattle, the Emerald City by the sea. A beautiful, young ballerina develops uncertainties about her lover, Marius. In her search for the truth of his fidelity to her, she journeys fearfully and far. There is much mystery that propels her forward. She has allies who, in moments of grave doubt about the safety of her quest, assist in her discovery of the lost tome. The accident of its finding reveals so much.

Clearly, Amanda, the brave and wantonly beautiful ballerina is rarely prepared for the unraveling; the truth of her Marius. And what of Marius's reaction? Does he respond sweetly to her suspicions or no? He must protect himself; aggressively one would assume. Does he choose himself, Amanda or a blend unforeseen in the beginning?
