All signs, symbols and vestiges of Christian religion-churches, schools, public statues, crosses and God billboards-have been destroyed. Two-way "telescreens" and auditory sensors are mandated in every domicile. Citizens are required to watch the government's one-hour television program of announcements and achievements every night at 7:00 pm. All other channels are blocked. Remote controls and other electronic entertainment sources are frozen.People caught speaking about or displaying any non-verbal Christian religious behavior are punished.
