He labeled the idea Grandpa School and persuaded the grandkids to meet with him infrequently during their teen years. The sessions were informal; some occurred two times a month, and others might skip a month or two.The sessions became popular and requests from other families followed. Over the years since then, the author's daughter frequently pestered him to commit Grandpa School to writing. At last relenting, he presents in this book his best recollection of those sessions, salted with wisdom gained from his later successes and failures
