More DescriptionThis book is a primer for parents and grandparents who want to discuss issues about life with their teenage progeny. It's a wide-ranging review of subjects including the existence of God, dating, sex, emotions, marriage and others. The material is expressly Christian throughout, and Catholic in some parts. The topics were originally picked by the author to mentor his grandchildren as they grew up. He labeled the idea Grandpa School and persuaded the grandkids to meet with him infrequently during their teen years. The sessions were informal; some occurred two times a month, and others might skip a month or two.The sessions became popular and requests from other families followed. Over the years since then, the author's daughter frequently pestered him to commit Grandpa School to writing. At last relenting, he presents in this book his best recollection of those sessions, salted with wisdom gained from his later successes and failures
