Following exhibitions that were also well received in Japan and Korea, the Gewerbemuseum Winterthur now presents Ernst Gamperl's Tree of Life project for the first time, which will then travel to other venues. In a ten-year process, Gamperl transformed a roughly 230-year-old uprooted oak into an ensemble of vessels and sculptures.
