It's a funny thing you know, John never thought for a moment he would ever suffer from a stress related illness of any kind, his stability and alertness wouldn't allow it.Well here we are a year after that cheapskate Tom Thorne wriggled out of his second arrest for murder, he found himself hospitalised listening to that ticking clock, his only reminder that the planet was still with him.The doctors had tried their hardest to cure him, but his problems still persist. It all came back to School Lane and the goings on, impossible to put it all together as he was absent from the house for twelve years and that was by now extended a few more years wasting away in this institution. The doctors were very kind, agreeing among themselves that it was all School Lane related. As an aid to his therapy it was suggested that he recall the events that led him to this place. He was by now an old man barely able to feed himself, he would try his best, so here goes.Mrs Adams died all of a sudden, leaving the old Victorian terraced house to her three sons in equal shares. The oldest James a bully boy, the middle son John was easy going and anything for a quiet life, the youngest Peter knew he had the other two by the shorts and played them along for years.
