These recommendations have been established by the Senate Commission on the Investigation of Health Hazards of Chemical Compounds, a division of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). The Commission is internationally acknowledged for its neutrality and is working strictly according to transparent, scientific criteria. The editor of this work is head of the Commission's working group "Analytical Chemistry".
