She is the owner of a high-end event planning company, and author of four novels, Party Girl, Smart Girl, Sweet Girl, and the short story, Party Girl's First date. She has written two cookbooks, Upscale Downhome: Family Recipes, All Gussied Up, and Real Life Dinners, due out in May 2018). Her Christian self-help book, Girl, Wash Your Face: Stop Believing the Lies about Who You Are So You Can Become Who You Were Meant to Be, was published in February 2018.
