Plant pathologist Pippa Greenwood is a member of the scientific and advisory staff of the Royal Horticultural Society in Great Britain. She has written extensively on the care of gardens and houseplants in books such as The New Gardener: The Practical Guide to Gardening Basics (1995), Gardening Hints & Tips (1996), Pests and Diseases (1997), The New Flower Gardener (1998), and Basic Gardening (101 Essential Tips) (1998). Greenwood has also appeared in a videotape produced by the National Back Pain Association called Better Backs for Gardeners.
