Glyn Williams is Professor Emeritus of History at Queen Mary & Westfield College, the University of London, & specializes in the history of exploration. He is the author of "The Voyages of Captain Cook," "The Great South Sea: English Voyages & Encounters 1570-1750," & "Ruling Britannia: A Political History of Britain 1688-1988." He lives in Kent, England.
