This series of four volumes will make available a collection of texts which will illustrate the origins, polities, theologies, worship and socio-political aspects of the several nonconformist traditions. Each text will be introduced with biographical, contextual and bibliographical material. The aim is to allow readers to take the pulse of the various nonconformist traditions in England and Wales from the mid-sixteenth century to the present day.
