These papers use examples from the Polish economy, but most of the issues raised are relevant to the economies of all formerly socialist countries. The managerial aspects of inflation and the issues that companies face in high-inflation environment are outlined from the perspective of the financial manager. The effect of high inflation on capital markets is analyzed. Finally, there is a close look at accounting and inflation in Poland.
