This is the only comprehensive annotated bibliography on hypertext/hypermedia. Hypertext refers to units of information interconnected with links. Hypermedia involves the extension of this concept to include information units in the form of graphics, music, animation, video, or any type of media that can be digitized. Hypertext/hypermedia systems allow users to access and interact with information. Listing nearly 500 citations, the bibliography represents the work of over 350 authors.
