Cyrinda Foxe-Tyler is the ex-wife of Steven Tyler, lead singer and songwriter for the rock band Aerosmith. She was married to Tyler from 1978 to 1987, a ten-year period that saw the band's heydey in the 70s, the fast-lane excesses that nearly destroyed them in the early 80s, and Aerosmith's comeback in the mid-80s.
Aerosmith band members have always had a reputation for wildness, both on and off the stage, and Foxe-Tyler's tell-all book, Dream On: Livin' on the Edge with Steven Tyler and Aerosmith, did nothing to clean up that image. Admittedly resentful of a divorce settlement that paid her an alimony of about $250 a week, while her ex-husband made millions, Foxe-Tyler's book revealed the band's excesses of drugs, sex and spending, and accused Tyler of infidelity, spousal abuse and child neglect.
Foxe-Tyler had a brief career as an actress, playing the role of R.C. in the 1977 film Andy Warhol's Bad.
