A Family Matter: A Guide to Organizing Your Personal Estate, is a self-help Guide that helps families put in place the most important information they will ever need. Four purposes, or benefits, are met through following this Guide.
Organization of a personal estate is the central purpose of this Guide. It will help gather the information that a family and/or a personal representative will need to carry out the disposition of an estate as would be required during a life-threatening situation or emergency situation.
The second purpose of this guide is to assist in the management of an estate during a lifetime, tracking important information to make ongoing decisions with regard to the management of a life's assets.
There is also a benefit during tax season. Following the Guide will systematically compile and arrange most of the information a person or an accountant will need to expeditiously file a tax return each year.
